Consider Your Reasons for Learning...

  • You want to stretch your mental muscles
  • You want to build on, or to expand your previous education
  • You want to be part of a community of interested and interesting people
  • You want to make new friends, people who care about the fun of learning
  • You want to gain new insights into problems and become a more effective citizen
  • You want to reflect, to think, to consider what is meaningful
  • You want to vary your routine
  • You want to learn…to learn for the joy of it

If you are 50 or better, renew your enthusiasm for learning.  Join us for learning adventures.

We  provide a rich and evolving array of courses and programs.  Engage in discussions, enjoy lectures or presentations,  and consider life's questions--and answers.

The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute (OLLI) is part of  San José State University's International and Extended Studies program and made possible by grants from the Bernard Osher Foundation.  In 2007,  SJSU celebrated its sesquicentennial as the oldest public university on the west coast.   OLLI at SJSU is just one example of the university's 150-year commitment to lifelong learning and service to the community.
