The first hour and a half will be a lecture and Q&A and the rest of the class will be time to observe court proceedings. Parking is available in the long term lot. There is a charge for parking, but the program is free. We will provide you with directions when you register.
The honorable Michele McKay McCoy was elected to the Superior Court, County of Santa Clara in November 2006. She served as a prosecutor for 20 years specializing in crimes against children. She also trained prosecutors and criminal justice professionals in the prosecution of such crimes. Prior to service as a prosecutor, she was in private practice and also was a librarian at one time. Osher member Roger Johnson arranged this program as a member of the OLLI curriculum committee.
