Confess!  You have a news addiction.  You TiVo all the Sunday talk shows.  You have Google alerts out on policy issues you are tracking.  You have opinions and you like to share them and hear what others think.  This is a free-ranging discussion based on the day’s news.  The facilitators (see below) will propose topics each week, but members can do so, as well.  Bring articles.  Point out Web sites.  Show up and be ready to hash out what is happening right now.
Facilitators for this discussion group are:
Bert Greenberg trained as a journalist which added to his innate love for searching out the truth and politics at all levels.
Roger Johnson has been an OLLI/SJSU member for four years  and has enjoyed a number of classes on current events.  He has co-led Great Decisions sessions and chaired a number of discussions, as well as leading three classes in film appreciation.
Bill Tommaney has been active in politics for a number of years.  He reads widely and enjoys a good discussion.
To participate in Osher programs, you must be a member of SJSU’s Osher Lifelong Learning Institute.
